If you have ever considered traveling to China, you probably already
know that the country is massive in size and the culture of the people,
the landscape, and the wildlife varies from place to place. Some areas
of the country are rural and remote, while other areas are centers of
international business and trade. There are areas with raging rivers
and others with towering skyscrapers.
Visiting China is something everybody should do to get an appreciation
for the diverse cultures, to see the ancient structures, gaze at the
majestic mountains, and view the rolling hills while boating down the
Yangtze River. Most people would be satisfied with a packaged tour
available from numerous tour companies around the world and, if so, we
could not encourage you more to take such a tour.
However, Terrapane does not offer packaged tours to predetermined
destinations on rigid schedules. Rather, we plan tours for individuals
and small groups and accompany them on the journey.
Tours might be for business, such as a group wishing to meet with
government leaders in certain provinces or to do a nationwide study in a
particular vertical industry. Such groups are not limited in size,
though our experience has been that group sizes should be limited to
thirty individuals to be most effective.
Tours might also be for individuals, couples, or small groups that want
to visit the "real" China or who simply wish to have a private tour and
avoid the tight schedules imposed by typical group tour companies. The
locations you visit and the time schedule is entirely up to you.
Our team will work with you and/or take your instructions to plan an
itinerary. We will make all flight arrangements, hotel arrangements,
reserve buses or limousines, or make other travel accommodations within
China. If requested, we can also secure air transportation to China and
work with you to get necessary Visas to enter China. One or more
English-speaking members of our team will accompany you along your
journey to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable visit.
